He LOVES this toy!
No batteries required! The chicks make peeping noises when you press on their heads, but it's not loud or annoying in my opinion. Our son received them as a gift when he was born, we let him start playing with them at around 6 months, and he honestly plays with them every single day. He has yet to figure out how to organize them and match the shapes, so he'll spend much more time with them before he outgrows it.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great compact toy
This has been a great toy to travel with and my daughter loves it. I love it because it requires no batteries. It helps her learn to sort shapes and really requires an adult to open so "eggs" aren't spilling out unless you want them to.

annoying toy
My daughter is two and still has to come to me to open the eggs because the latch is not meant for a little kid. She has not learned to fit them in their spots, so she gets very frustrated I end up cleaning them up. They are just a pain and not very fun.

Love It!
I gave this to my baby to occupy him for a few minutes - he was a little grouchy from waking from a nap and dinner wasn't ready yet. He was so excited by these little egss that he didn't even remember he was hungry/grouchy! And they kept him busy for quite a while.

They love it!
My 5 year old, 3 year old, and the one year old (who I bought it for) all love this toy! It's adorable, simple yet allows a variety of play value. And the squeaks are not annoying!
