Great Fun
I got this for my 5 year old niece for Christmas, and it was a huge hit. It's a game that the adults don't even mind playing. The plastic jewelry pieces are universal enough that her older brother doesn't mind playing the game with her. A great buy for the money.

Darling game that is always fun to play
We have had this game for 2 years now and my daughter still loves to play. Of course for her half the fun is getting her good natured Dad and/or Brother to participate so they will have to wear the jewelry and crown!

The game is simple enough for very young children to understand but they won't outgrow it too quickly. My daughter is 8 now and she and her friends still love the game. The black ring adds a little excitement to the game since you can't win while you have it and it is not to easy to get rid of.

I like to play this game with my children because they have so much fun with it. They always think it is so funny when I have all the jewelry on with the crown and they always burst into giggles.

A lot of fun for little money....
My 3 year old just received this game for the recent holiday. She is able to play with minor assistance and loves it. There is a plastic spinner with #'s 1-4. You must spin and then move a colored pawn the # of spaces the spinner indicates. Spaces are labeled with individual jewelry pieces or instructions such as "put once piece back" or "take any piece you wish". When you land on a space indicating that you can take a piece of jewelry you must take pieces that match the color of your pawn. For example, pick all things pink if you selected a pink pawn. The goal is that children acquire a complete set of jewelry (2 earrings, 1 necklace, 1 bracelet, & ring) + the crown in order to win. Watch out for the dreaded black ring though! You can't win if it's in your possession!

We also purchased the Disney princess game: Spinning Wishes. It was much more difficult for my daughter to play and not as enjoyable.

This game is really cute - but the board needs HELP!
The game is adorable, as others have said. My daughter loves it. I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but your daughter will get to decorate the crown and jewelry box with little gems that come in the game box - she'll loves that! You only do it once, but it is fun for kids.

The game board is disappointing. It's actually 4 pieces that you fit together sort of like a puzzle. They don't always go together very well. I'm not sure why the board wasn't produced in one piece as that would make this game much better. It's not anything that prevents you from playing, it's just annoying.

There is a version of this game that features Disney princesses. It's not easy to find. I've seen that version on Ebay and also at the toy store at Walt Disney World. I had really wanted that version for my daughter, but we got the original version as a gift. I wonder now if the game board is sturdier on the Disney version?

giggles of fun
Board games are always great for kids because it teaches them taking turns and sometimes loosing, which is apart of life. And of course the fun of winning which boost every childs confidance. My husband is even having fun collecting the jewelery becasue my girls are giggling at thier dad wearing jewelery. Every girls dream is looking like a princess and this game a whole lot of fun with many giggles.
