User Submitted Deluxe Wood Folding Mancala in Sleeve ReviewsDate: 2009-01-06 Fun and addicting This game is fun for all ages. We got it for our 8 year old son and found that we enjoyed playing it just as much as him. It's fun, thought provoking and very addicting! Date: 2008-12-21 Misleading Product Description I've had several of these games -- growing up and raising my own kids. It is a good game for all ages. This version is nice because it folds up to about the size of a hard cover book. However, the Amazon site touts the metal sleeve -- the version I was sent is in a cardboard sleeve. Also be advised that the stones are stored in the cups when folded, this version is too small for all the stones to be stored in a bag and then contained within. The wood exterior would benefit from buffing with fine steel wool to smooth the finish. Over all worth the price I paid. Date: 2008-12-21 wonderful game My daughter was given this game for her fourth birthday. It is the greatest game! Easy enough for her to learn and understand. Now she's even playing with strategy. It's such a hit in our house, we ordered this game for all our family and friends for this year's Christmas gift! Date: 2008-10-31 Great Product, Great Game Arrived in excellent condition, well packed, well insulated. It looks like a quality product, nothing cheap looking about it. My granddaughter loves this game, she swears it's fun, so I expect to be spending plenty of time with it. For someone who wants to spend some family time sitting around the kitchen table, but can't stand Monopoly (someone like me), give this a try. The price is right, and it would make a great gift. Date: 2008-07-19 Strategic Feast My niece learned to play this game in school and wanted one for home so we got her one. I learned to play with her and she beat me many times. I could actually see her thinking through her strategy before she won. I bought one also, to learn about what it takes to win. We now have Mancala challenges that last for hours and it has become a great family game. The other great thing is we don't have to stay in the house to play. I highly recommend it. Very easy to learn.
