User Submitted Classic Pickup Truck Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-10-03 Fun! Fun! Fun! Bought this for my 2 year old grandson. He loves it! Loves the tools that come with it that can be stored in the bed of the truck. The side door to the truck doesn't stay closed all the time (kind of annoying even to him), but other than that, who wouldn't want a truck like their dad's? Easy to put together and very durable. Date: 2008-09-29 Great fun to drive like dad I was looking for the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe when I found this truck. We farm and I thought a truck would be more appropriate. My son is only 19 months and average size for his age. He isn't big enough to use his feet in moving the truck yet, though he likes to load the bed with his toys, get in and out of the truck, and push it around. I think he can play with the truck for many years to come. The door does not 'latch' closed, but he doesn't seem to mind. Date: 2008-09-15 My son loves this truck My neighbors have this toy and I debated if this would be a good buy. I'm so glad I got it, it has been hours of fun and I know it's going to last him for many more years. My son is 2, but my neighbors kids are around 5, so I know this will last for several more years. Date: 2008-09-03 little tikes pickup truck This truck is the same quialty as the little tikes cozy coupe. We liked it because my grandson loves trucks now he has one to drive too. It is roomy and moves very easily. Excellent product. Date: 2008-07-10 Grandson's Favorite Toy I recently purchased this truck for my 16 month old grandson, whom is fascinated with cars/trucks, and his soon-to-be baby brother. This instantly became his favorite toy at Nana's house. He enjoys getting in and shutting the door and pretending he is driving. He is able to push backward in it, but he still has some growth before actually propelling forward using his feet. He also enjoys placing things in the back and putting the rear door up and down. He laughs and smiles nonstop when we push him around and around, while either sitting in the drivers seat or in the rear. I like the idea that both he and his brother will play together with this truck. It is certainly sturdy, having endured tornatic winds recently in our area and being blown across our large deck to the first landing on the stairs. While all the shrubbery was damaged, this toy was in perfect condition after the storm. We did lose one of the four colorful tools which comes in the toolbox with the hat. These add extra fun for my grandson, as he pretends to be a big boy. If you have the space, I would definetly encourage you to spluge on this reasonably priced, safe, toy which will bring much joy for many years to come.
