Even our soon to be 3 yr old is learning colors and taking turns. The cards are durable and colorful. It's a quick game so a game can be sneaked in whenever there is a free couple of minutes. Date: 2007-08-21 Fun & Educational - its true! I purchased this game on the clearance shelf at WalMart and was thrilled b/c it was sold out everywhere last Christmas when I wanted it. My 3 and 5 year old love it! Big fun for the whole family to spread out on the floor and play together. Every kid that comes to our house wants to play this. Very simple, but colorful and a bit thought provoking for younger kids. (I'd say age 7 would be the max for it - bored) I'll take another reviewer's advice and buy another set of cards for bigger snakes! Date: 2007-08-15 Great game for preschoolers This is a great game for preschoolers. It involves color recognition and matching. Our 3 year old son can play, which gives us a nice break from Candyland every once and a while! Game pieces are made from very durable card stock and will not bend or break easily. Date: 2007-08-10 Fun for the whole family We bought this game for our 3 year old. It's extremely easy yet fun to play! Even the grandparents love playing this game with her! The nice thing about it too is that it doesn't get boring or old quick and the game is very quick to play. Definitely a top game for young children to play w/ their parents. It's very educational as well in teaching them colors, matching, counting etc. Date: 2007-08-08 Snakes on a plane! Coming to a plane (floor or table top) near you is likely the most fun and simple game you could ever play with your young children. I bought this based on the customer reviews and have had many hours of fun playing this game with my two young sons. The game graphics are colorful and cute, and the game play reinforces matching, logic, and counting skills. Set up and clean up are just a few seconds each. My only critique is that there should be more heads and tail cards, but like one reviewer wrote, one can always buy a second set. I'll likely be doing that soon, because I think we'll be playing this for a while.
