The speakers arrived 3 or 4 days after I ordered them. Very satisfied with the customer service. Date: 2008-06-06 awesome pair of speakers pros: crystal clear, performs very well in lowrange, midrange and also high frequencies. cons: you have to turn down the bass to a great extent for normal listening because it thumps even at the lowest bass. For years, I've been looking for a set of reasonably priced speakers that could handle anything. I've now found them! I'm an absolute music lover, but I've never had a sound system up to the task of, really, bringing the music to LIFE. The sound quality is absolutely amazing-- booming bass, or no bass, if that's what they intended in the mastering room. You hear audio with no distortion-- no speakers rattling or, dare I say, "farting" (that's what it sounds like sometimes!) when you simply wanted to hear a low-frequency bass tone. Now, I have to be honest, the first set speakers I received were faulty from the factory-- the right speaker distorted and crackled because of an output problem. Amazon quickly sent a new set, with no rush to dispatch mine back, and the second set has worked perfectly. Now all I have to worry about are plastic bags or picture frames chiming in occasionally with their own little rattly contributions (sometimes it gets too high quality for them). These speakers were made with a love for SOUND-- be it music, movies, or the most shared YouTube clip of the moment. When you own these, your sound is no longer limited by the speakers themselves, but the quality of the source. Date: 2008-05-21 Not a Happy Camper These speakers only worked for about a month. They now have an interesting feature of the volume going up when I turn it down and barely any volume to begin with. I am now on my 3rd ""control pod"" which mounts under the right speaker and controls the volume. They finally did not have me pay for the third. Don't take my word for it though, go check out their forums and search for the the phrase ""Reverse Volume"". Now that the 3rd control pod wont work, they want me to send in the subwoofer for repair which takes 4 - 6 weeks. Save your money.
