hard to get replacement parts for
We bought the slide in June. Two weeks later one of the hoses came loose and broke. Have contacted manufacturer and nothing. Called & emailed twice. Nothing. Replacement parts are very hard to come by. Buyer beware.

The real story......how to make it LAST more than one season
We've owned a couple of these slides....made by different manfacturers....and all with varying degrees of durability...which, for this slide, is the MAIN problem.

Although a pain....you MUST follow these steps to get the LONGEST use out of your slide.

1) You MUST dry out the water slide each time it's used, and get it out of the hot sun. If it's left on the lawn deflated and wet....the hot sun will literally COOK the inside membrane and after a month or so you will see the inside membrane start to crumble and delaminate from the outside fabric. The stiching will also wear prematurely.

Simply turn off the water....leave the slide inflated...and let it stand until it dries out. It only costs a few pennies to leave the blower on an hour extra.

2) Do not let the kids run up the wrong side of the slide to get to the top (like they so at a park). This again will compromise the inside membrane and shorten the life of the slide.

3) Do not let the kids jump from the top and land halfway down the slide. Both dangerous...and will shorten the slide's life....too much sudden weight in a small area.

4) Do not let the kids slide over the end of the slide at the bottom wall onto the grass. They are supposed to stop in the "pool" at the bottom and exit to the left thru the lowered opening. Again...the rubber membrane will delamiate from the fabric at the bottom...which wasn't intended to have children sliding over it.

5) KEEP YOUR RECIEPTS!! The company WILL replace the slide up to one year after it is purchased (ToyQuest did, at least). They will promptly send you a new slide (less blower, etc.) They will do this only once...but at least they replace the slide a year later when the warranty is only 90 days.

I know...."my little one is an angel on the slide".....UNTIL YOU TURN YOUR HEAD!! My daughters abided by the rules the first few days...but then they get really courageous and next thing you know....are doing all the things I've mentioned which ultimately ruins the slide. It may look ok from the outside....but the cracks, holes and defects accumulate to the point where you cannot pinpoint where the slide is leaking air...and it keeps gets worse and worse.

Hope this helps. I've done my homework on this one, guys. For a more robust water slide made from thicker materials....check out Bouncelandfun (dot com)....which is a company that manufacturs bouncers, slides, etc. at a great price, with free shipping. A bit heavier to lug around....but they are built to last longer and with less maintenance.

Good luck!

Our Slide is fine
We're on our THIRD summer season using this slide and our kids love it. Of course we let it dry and put it away _after_each_use and do not ever leave it just sitting out in the direct sun to rot. Of course with my luck it'll collapse this weekend. The set up is easy and it isn't as heavy as our bouncer, so putting it away isn't too bad either.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone. It's good fun and gets the whole family outside.

MADE IN CHINA MADE IT CHEAP
This is a fun toy for about 10 minutes, while the seems started ripping off. My daughter almos suffocated on it. The slide tear up and my daughter got cut in the middle of the of it. It is a danger to the children. When you call customer service it takes them abot 45 minutes to answer and the the way to fix the problem is sending you a replacement of another slide. They won't refund your money. If you purchase one and you open it TOY R US will not refund your money they will send you through the distributer in Nebraska. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS ITEM TO NO KIDS, it will cause a lot of headaches trying to get your money back. I write this because I tried with a replacement they WILL send and same thing as the first one. PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN.I GOT TWO and both were the same problem.

Good Product!
This is our 3rd summer season and it has finally given up. My wife called me a week ago and said that it is collapsing under the weight of the kids. I checked it out and the seams on the slide portion have finally given away. We are trying to decided whether to attempt a repair or just dispose of it.

But it has been used tremendously over the previous 2 summers. We did not have any limitations on bouncing or jumping. The neighborhood kids flocked to our house when it was set up. I put it on a tarp to drag it onto the porch between uses (it will kill your grass in a couple of days). In past summers we would only use it 2 or 3 times per week (though typically all day long). The kids adored it. I imagine they used it more than the swingset though not as much as the trampoline. We are looking at the newer generation though we are going to look for season-end sales.
