When I purchased it I thought the tray flipped up. So, I was a little disappointed in that, but the high chair is very well constructed. Date: 2007-12-28 Deluxe wooden doll High Chair This is a very well made product. bought for a 3 and 6 yr. old. Easy to assemble with predriilled holes and flathead screws. Nice white finish. the tray slides straight out and is completely removable.My 3 yr. old has sat in it many times, no damage done. This in not a real tall high chair. Easy for the girls to use while they are crawling around on their knees playing with their babydolls. Well worth the price.I would recommend Melissa and Doug products. Date: 2007-10-17 sturdy and well made I purchased this highchair for my 4year old's birthday. I looked at several other models before purchasing that were between $25 and $30 but they seemed flimsy and looked cheaply made. This one is very sturdy and quite lovely. The legs are solid and round, not just a single piece cut out of 1/4" plywood like the others. It was easily assembled with clear instructions. And it handles a good amount of weight, as my 40 pound little girl decided to sit in with no problems. This is a solid, sturdy, well made toy that is pretty as well, just what I always expect from "Melissa and Doug" products. It was well worth the extra money in my opinion! Date: 2007-03-12 Choose the right seller! I bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday. I assembled it in about 20 minutes. The box came mangled though and it had several scratches and was all white instead of pink like the picture. Also some of the pieces didn't fit together all the way, though it still seems sturdy enough. My daughter has played with it every day since her birthday. I love all the Melissa and Doug products. Date: 2007-01-18 Sturdy high chair. This is a wonderful high chair. My daughter loves to feed her babies. The chair is big enough to accomodate two babies during feeding time. It is very sturdy and holds up to the abuse her brothers provide. It is a little pricey but you won't need to replace it.
