Great easel - My son loves it!
Easy assembly. My son uses it all the time... Great for colder months when kids stay inside more often...

Wonderful and Durable Easel for Little Artists
Setting up the easel is very easy despite that the instructions and pieces are not all labeled. The things that are not labeled you can easily figure out where they go.

Be forewarned you CANNOT fold the easel to lay it flat without actually dismantling the easel. This is good because it means the easel is very sturdy and doesn't easily collapse but it's bad if you intend to fold it up after every use and store it away somewhere. The product comes with its own alan wrench which is nice, but not really necessary as it's pretty easy to screw the pieces tightly even without the alan wrench. You will however need it to unscrew the pieces.

I love that you can set the easel to 3 different heights. The lowest setting is intended for 3-4 year olds, the middle setting for 5-6 year olds and the highest setting for 7-8 year olds. I have a 2 and 5 year old so we opted for the lowest setting and it works out perfectly at that height. (To adjust the height in the future we will have to actually unscrew/reassemble some of the pieces...it's not something where you can just unclick and raise, which you might initially think...much like the "fold up flat" feature of having to disassemble instead of just unhooking a latch or something.)

Once the easel is entirely set up it takes up surprisingly a lot of space...allow a good 4'x4' space.

The girls love this easel and play with it daily. If you purchase the separate paint set, be sure to put a rug or something underneath the easel to catch spills!

Present from Santa
My daughter got this from Santa. Was easy to assemble and has given her many hours of fun. I can see this being a toy that she will play with for many years.

Chalkboard fix
This is a great item & my kid loves it. Only problem was the chalkboard. Like others have noted it does not work. One way to fix it is to use chalkboard paint. It comes in a spray can & you can buy it at an arts & crafts supply store. We purchased for $6.00. Just tape up the wood frame & spray the paint. When it dries the chalkboard works great. Hope this helps. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A Must Have For Any Little Artists
This product made its way into my house via Santa. Assembly was easy and my 4 and 6 year olds both helped put it together. I read lots of reviews about the chalk board not working correctly but the one that we have works just fine. We have had no problems with it. If you get this I highly recommend getting the art combo pack that they sell because the spill proof cups are a must have. Overall this is a lot of fun, the fact that it has 2 sides is excellent because both the kids can play at the same time. If there are any little artists in your family I would definitely recommend picking this up.
