I LOVE THIS SPOOKY GAME!!!!!
This game is so cool! I'm am 11 years old, and I am a boy. Ever sence my grandma gave me a Nancy Drew game, I started to get one after an other. Now I've got every one of them. Numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13, and 14. They are all so cool. The sad thing is, is that when I got every one of them so quick I've got to keep on waiting every year until the next one comes out. So, what i've been doing is, getting different kind of games untill the next Nancy Drew comes out. I've been starting to get some C.S.I games. They are really cool too! Right now i'm waiting to get the 15th Nancy Drew game( The creature of Kapu cave). Just to tell everybody, this game is rated EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!! Which means it is not a game just for girls! Even if it was, then who cares? Just like girls say, they can do anything that boys can do.So, if we turned the phrase around then it would show my point. Scary PC Game
This is a great game. Never played Nancy Drew PC Games before. I had to use the cheat forums a lot because I kept getting stuck. This game gets scarier as it goes along.

My Brain..it BURNS.
On an action packed adventure to "Toys-r-us", I purchased what I think were three Nancy Drew games. I am shamelessly addicted to them and am not intending to fix it. One of the ones I picked up was "Nancy Drew - Curse of Blackmoor Manor" and I forgot about it for some time. I was so hooked on Danger on Deception Island and others to remember this last one. But recently I found it and popped it in, excited I had something else to play.

I'm surprised this game didn't trigger an anurism in my brian.

This game is VERY puzzle-happy. And while puzzles are great, they get really annoying. Any time you need to retrieve anything its another puzzle. The little girl character, Jane, retains a lot of information you need, and the only way to get it out of the brat is by playing games with her that are more meticulous than entertaining.

The story is rather bad too. They set you up with what could have been an AMAZING story. Witchcraft, classic languages, money scandal...

And then instead of really playing on any of that, they pour some oil into a hole in the middle of the night and you're shuffling about like a troll collecting random stones that you have NO idea how to use until the very end.

I'll give it to Her Interactive that the characters were pretty good. Jane was a tad unrealistic and so was the curriculum being beat into her brain. Nigel Mookerjee sounds like he's telling a campfire story even in casual conversation, and Lady Whose Name Escapes Me At the Moment, she talks to plants. However their personalities were agreeable and some made me laugh a few times.

I think the laughter prevented the anurism actually.

If your logic is impeccable or you like real brain busters, this game is for you.

However if you like mystery, adventure, and well written story lines that keep you hooked until the very end, I don't recommend it, I didn't even finish the game.
