It's helping him learn his letters and how to spell simple words, which as a mom, I love. He doesn't seem to get bored with it, and it's one of his favorite activities. I would recommend this to anyone. It's a great product! Date: 2007-12-26 Great educational puzzle My 2 and a half year old daughter loves puzzles and this is a great addition to our collection. She has learned her shapes from the Melissa and Doug puzzles and I hope this will teach her her letters. She got the puzzle yesterday and is already matching the letters to the correct places and repeating the names of the letters after me. The only problem with this puzzle is that there is no cover for it to the letters are not easily contained for storage. He learned lower-case very quickly, just in order to play with this toy. It keeps him entertained and learning. It's one of the best M & D's I've come across. This is a gift for family member so I didn't get the chance to have my kids play with it but the products we have, my kids love and play with all the time.
