Ticket to Ride Review
This made a great gift that our entire family enjoyed. We had played the version of this game based on Germany, but really enjoyed the larger European board as well. Building tunnels is a unique feature of Ticket to Ride Europe that adds an interesting element of suspense to the game. Our entire family would recommend it to your family.

A family hit
I purchased this game for my brother and his family last year for the holidays. It has become a hit in their home. In fact my brother plays the game regularly online. This is a must buy for any family who plays boardgames.

Amazing family game!
My husband and I are addicted to this game! A nice game for 2-5 players (we've played with each # of players), especially for people (my family) who can be a little too competitive and need to play a game that is easygoing, where you are working towards your own goals. I really love the train stations, giving you a way out if you are stuck with no way out -- that's different from Settlers of Catan, where you can just get blocked off, with no way out, and people get their feelings hurt. I especially enjoy the European influence, as my husband has lived over there, and we are definitely looking for buying a new version (perhaps the special edition with pictures of real trains on the cards) once the Europe one has become too familiar.

The board and cards and pieces are very nice, high quality, and the box has storage compartments for all of it. The game is a little pricy in stores (CDN $80), so I would suggest finding it online for less.

Such a simple game, my 12 year old sister picked it up quickly and really enjoys it.

Five stars all the way!

Great Game for Board Game Lovers
My husband and I had played the original Ticket To Ride at a friend's last summer. After playing only once, we knew we wanted to get the game. For my husband's birthday I bought him the Europe edition. We found the additions of the train stations in this version quite a helpful security blanket when someone else takes your train path---in other words, the original can be a little frustrating when that happens. Since the game play moves so quickly, we've played this game on several weeknights after dinner, and also have taken it to friend's houses to play, who also are gamers. A real neat game for any board game lover, tired of playing the usual games. A little pricey but worth the money!

Fun
My wife and I play this most often of our games. Map has a different feel from the original Ticket to Ride (USA). Like the new long routes (for lots of points) and the new rules about keeping those routes separate. The european map is a bit of a geography lesson, made more difficult because some of the city names aren't spelled they way we're used to seeing them. All in all, a great game.
