Hours of Imaginary Fun!
My 4 year old has been playing with this since he was 1 years old. He absolutely LOVES it and the novelty has not worn off. It is sturdy, well made and withstands rough play. We keep it on the deck and he even plays with it all winter long! Hours and hours of fun! We add water sometimes to make mud pies and it dries out pretty quickly for the next sand use. We've had no trouble with leaking.

Highly recommend!

Beware! It leaks!
We recently purchased this sand table for our 3 yr old, as she loves to play with sand, but were disappointed in it very quickly. We placed it on our deck with the lid securely attached, but after 1 night of rain, the entire inside is filled with water and the sand is ruined! There's no place for the water to go, so we now have to dump the entire thing. I've contacted Step 2 directly and was told by their Customer Service Rep that there's nothing they can/will do and she suggested we try putting silicone around the holes where the cable goes through. Just another poorly created product that the manufacturer continues to make money off of!

Wonderful size sandbox but:
I bought this sandbox to keep on our back deck for when my 18 month old grandson comes to visit. It is the perfect size for the back deck and just the right size for him. My only complaint is that even with the lid on, when it rains alot of water can still get into the sand from where the lid attaches to the base. Otherwise I would highly recommend this prooduct!!

Sand fun
Living in a townhouse, I did not want a sand box for my son. I got him this instead, hoping to keep some of the sand out of his shoes.

He & a few other little ones tried it out yesterday at his 2nd birthday party, they loved it. They didn't seem to be crowded & I wasn't sure if I had enough sand in it, but there was 4 kids (1-3 yrs) all playing at it. The biggest complaint was who had which toy. It does look a little short & when I put it together (which took about 30 seconds) I started to wonder if it was to small, but my 3 1/2 year old neice didn't seem to mind.

I'm so excited for my son, great toy for a good price.

Doesn't get much better than this....
If you have kids, this is a great little toy. As simple as they come, a table you fill with sand, then put the cover on when you are done. Well made, sturdy, great price. It's not the biggest table out there but also not the most expensive. My kids LOVE it.
