User Submitted Park & Sun BB-109 Bocce Pro Set ReviewsDate: 2008-12-18 Too Heavy Ordered this and was dismayed at how heavy it was. I would be unable to easily carry it to the park to play, if you were a big guy this might work, but otherwise no. Sent it back and am looking for a lighter weight set. Date: 2008-12-07 Had a blast at the Beach with these! Great Bocce Set. Good weight, nice colors. Great carrying case. My only problem with this set is that the balls got nicked up pretty easily when I used them on the beach. Not like dents, just the color getting erased faintly. It only occurs when one ball hits another, especially when sand gets in-between. But this wouldn't hinder me from recommending this product to anyone else. Date: 2008-10-25 Great bocce set I got the tournament set for my birthday this year, and it exceeds all my expectations. The balls have some real heft to them, even the pallino, and the colors and designs are beautiful. My set came with a brief description of the rules and a diagram of a court, and the measuring tool is pretty handy. I highly recommend investing in this set. Date: 2008-10-03 Nice set but no rules included! The set itself is of really high quality. I like the carrying case, makes taking it down to the beach easy. On the downside there are no 'rules of the game' included, so unless you know the rules you just have to make up your own! Date: 2008-09-23 Really heavy Bocce set I am an amateur Bocce player. These Bocce balls are REALLY heavy -- too heavy for my comfort, as a strictly-for-fun player. For me, they are too heavy to carry around and too heavy to throw. Perhaps they are more suited to more serious players.
