Great idea!
No more playing with my keys. My child has his own keys and safe radiation-free cell phone. It is fun!

Great...even for a little girl!
I'm not into John Deere, nor do I live on a farm. I don't even have a little boy. Despite all of this, I decided to buy this product for my little girl primarily based on the reviews. We've had the set for 4 months now and she still loves playing with it. It's very sturdy. The keys are heavy and feel like real keys. They also make great engine and security beeping sounds. She loves the animal sounds and music on the phone. I only wish the number keys would audibly identify each number. Overall, it was a great buy!

Not for toddlers, too hard to open phone - otherwise good toy
My son is 15 months and LOVES phones. He also loves keys. So this seemed like a perfect toy. The only problem is the phone is too hard for him to open since the top is so thin. I think it's best for kids over 2. Otherwise, it's durable and the keys are great.

Great Purchase
My 16 month old son got this for Christmas and really likes both items. He carries the keys around with him and tries to "start" everything he can sit on. He also holds the phone up to his ear to "talk". Overall...great product.

Good cell phone set, with minor flaw!
Ok, really, what is educational for a 1 year old, it's not as if he is going to learn his numbers or to speak another language from this phone. That being said, it is a good phone/key set! My only complaint is that the record function plays back so softly you can barely hear it.
