User Submitted Radio Flyer Twist Trike Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-01-05 RADIO FLYER TWIST TRIKE HAPPY CUSTOMER We just purchased the Twist Trike for our 2.9 year-old son. It was very easy to put together with clear instructions. It is rugged and fun looking; to early to say if it is durable. In my opinion, it is built for a taller child, closer to 3 in age rather than 2. Our son is tall--95% percentile. His inseam measures 16.5 inches from groin to bottem of foot. His feet barely reach the pedals; toes barely touch floor when sitting on seat; toes are flat when he hovers above crossbar and pushes trike 'Fred Flintstone' style. We are not worried--he will grow into it. Our son just loves his new trike. Despite the height of the trike he gets around just fine. It has great manoeuverability. I don't think you will be disappointed with this purchase--and I don't work for the company!!! :) Date: 2008-01-02 Nice trike Its a very nice trike. From the picture I thought it would be a small trike , but when it was bild it was actually pretty big. It's a little to big for a 22 month old , since he cannot yet reach the pedals. But that wont be long until he is racing it around . Very sturdy too he is gonna have fun with it for a couple years =) I think I buy it for my son too, for his second Birthday. Date: 2007-12-27 Great trike with only one fault... This trike was received 1 year ago by my son who was 2 and a half at the time. He loved it immediately! He tends to ride the trike Flintstone style instead of using the pedals, but he can get around really, really fast. Unfortunately, the front wheel has now fallen apart as mentioned by some of the other reviewers. But this bike has been so awesome, and well used, it is really only a temporary inconvenience. I have written the complany and hope to get a quick replacement. I would buy this agin, even knowing the wheel would only last a year. Look no further - this is the tricycle for your child. I read some reviews and I wouldn't put a two year old on this. It's really more for 3 and up I think. My four year old daughter struggled with a traditional Hot Wheel (like Big Wheel) and we had to return it. I bought this because I always have been impressed with Radio Flyer's quality. I wasn't dissapointed. My daughter absolutely loves it. It's easy to maneuver and seems sturdier than a lot of the expensive metal tricycles that are more trend than anything....
