Much better quality
This twist feature is pretty cool - a real tricycle with the handlebars one way, unlock and twist 180 degrees and you've got a big wheel. The lock works just like the height adjustment lock on Razor scooters. My 3-year-old, who never quite took to our traditional tricycle, is eager to ride the Twist Trike in big wheel mode. Keeping my 6-year-old off it is the challenge. I'm also quite pleased with the quality of the Twist Trike, after reading a lot of dissatisfied reviews for the latest incarnation of the Big Wheel.

good stuff
We have three boys--ages 3, 4 and 5. This is a great toy because they can all use it (in fact, they fight over it). We bought it for the 3 year old because it will grow with him. It hasn't gotten tons of use yet b/c we're in Minnesota and it was a Christmas gift (it's not a snow toy!). It seems very sturdy and rugged, and the twist is unique and high quality. I don't think we will regret spending a little extra on it.

So far so good...
I bought this for my grandson for his 2nd birthday and he loves it. This trike seems to be very well built and the conversion feature is awesome. I was looking for a "Big Wheel" type trike but the reviews of the new "Big Wheels" haven't been so good. Of course my grandson is only 2 so I guess we will see as he grows how durable this trike really is.

Great Trike/Chopper
My 3 year old and his 6 year old brother love this bike. It's Radio Flyer, so its well made sturdy plastic. Plus your child can grow with it. My 6 year old can also flip it without any help from an adult. This is one bike we'll probably store in the attic for when we have grandkids. It's that nice of a bike.
