User Submitted Manhattan Toy Baby Stella Doll in Peach Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-10-12 Darling baby doll! Very well made. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Like all of her toys, I always remove them from the packaging to check for loose strings, choking hazards, durability, etc. Plus, it avoids the annoyance of having to spend tons of time getting the toy out of the package once she sees it and gets excited. LOL This doll is very well made. The body part is stuffed with beanbag type stuffing, and the arms and legs seem to be stuffed with typical soft stuffing. The belly button is indeed adorable, and the headband is stitched on in two places, which for the younger children is good. I'm sure it could be removed if pulled hard enough, but oh well. The pacifier stays on well and the outfit seems to be very well made and is a nice thick material. The bottom velcros open and closed so your daughter can change her diaper without taking off the whole outfit. My mom bought her the feeding set and diapering set. I have only seen those in the packaging but they are equally as adorable and appear to be well made. I bought her the sleep and snuggle set as well which is nice. Overall, this baby is definitely recommended, as are the accessories I have seen thus far. Stella kind of reminds me of the Pottery Barn Kids baby dolls, only cuter and less expensive. Plus, there are TONS of adorable accessories. Date: 2008-09-29 First Big Baby Doll Got this for my daughter as her first more real like baby doll. I still wanted something soft rather than hard since she is just one and this fit the bill. She really loves the magnetic mouth. Date: 2008-08-31 Very sweet I'm new to baby dolls since my daughter is only 9 months old, but I think this is my favorite. She's soft, cute and she reminds me of my daughter! Date: 2008-07-21 Stella Rocks! I absolutely agree with the other reviewer that I find most other dolls creepy, but not Stella. She's sweet, adorable, detailed, well-made, washable, in short, everything you could ask for in a doll. My 2 and 1/2 year old can take her to bed and she's soft and cuddly. I would like to get rid of all our plastic-headed gimmicky babies like the Chou-chou that never stops crying and just keep Stella. Rather than losing interest in this doll, my daughter plays with it more now than when she first got it six months ago as a gift. We've made a point of taking care of Stella, and she'll likely become an heirloom, rather than something I can't wait to get rid of at my yard sale. Date: 2008-07-08 The perfect baby doll! I found one of these for a friend on clearance in a store for only about $[...]. I had no idea at the time what a great price this was. A few months later my friend related that her daughter loved her doll and I started looking for two for my twins. Finally, I forked over the full price for the girls' Christmas gifts at 14 months. The girls and I love these dolls. They are simple but very well made and soft. The bodies are chunky and adorable, with the cutest belly buttons. We haven't lost the pacies yet and the girls love them since they also have pacifiers. Our one problem is that the loose stiches holding the headbands on came off. Now the girls can't manage to put them on and that frustrates them. I wish that the accessories were less expensive, but I do love the dolls!!!
