User Submitted Manhattan Toy Baby Stella Doll in Peach Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-07-06 Great 1st baby doll This is the best and most durable 1st baby doll for any age, My 1 yr old received it for her 1st bday from her 4 yr old brother and loves to snuggle with baby Stella and loves to show you how to take out her pacifier and put it back on the baby it really helps her learn to share and give/put things back. Perfect for any age. Date: 2008-06-23 Love it! I bought this for my daughter for her first birthday. She already had the sweet pea doll from the same company & adored it, so I thought she might like this doll as well. Wow, she does't just like it, she loves it! Her favorite part is the magnetic binky~ constantly playing with it and can't get enough. She also just loves to snuggle and hug her because she is so so soft. She has the baby Alive, cabbage kids, Baby Carrole dolls etc. Even a Madame Alexander baby doll. She love them all. She love how soft and light this "baby" is. Very good toy at an exceptional price. Date: 2008-02-01 Sweet, soft little dolly! I ordered this little doll for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. I had searched for a long time for a soft baby doll made entirely out of cloth that was well made. Plastic ones are great, but they tend to be cold and hard when a child wants to sleep with them because they aren't comfortable to snuggle. Most rag dolls are not babies, but rather older girls (i.e, Madeline, Raggedy Ann) and often cheaply made with painted faces. This doll fit the bill. The Baby Stella doll is soft and light without being flimsy. She is easy for a small person to carry and cuddle. She is well made and has the cutest little belly button!! I love the magnet feature in her mouth so that you can stick the pacifier on there, but truthfully, that is just icing on the cake and can easily get lost. I think that the clothing and accessories marketed for this doll are overpriced, but her clothes are well made and easy for little hands to dress and undress. My daughter loves this doll and totes her everywhere. I have seen comparable dolls at high end children's retailers costing much more with cloth faces that were rough and easily soiled. She can be thoroughly spot cleaned without the telltale water marks that cloth dolls tend to get when washed. I don't think you will be disappointed if Stella comes to live with you!! Date: 2007-12-30 Adorable baby doll My 19 month old daughter received this doll for Christmas and it was love at first sight. She loves the removable binky and the diaper that she comes with. I love how soft she is and just the right size for little hands. I would buy her again any time.
