User Submitted Crayola 150-Count Telescoping Crayon Tower ReviewsDate: 2008-09-21 There Are 150 different colors I've bought 2 Sets of this 150 count crayola crayon tower. There ARE 150 different colors. Some of them have similar colors; except some are gels,metallic & glitter. The gels are a creamy/smooth texture when you color. The metallics have a nice creamy shimmery texture. The glitters have the regular crayola quality just bits of glitter come out when you color. When I bought them some of the crayons looked the same until I used them on white paper. My friend & I had a blast trying out my kids crayons. I bought a second tower for her kids. They were just too much fun!!! Like I said some of the crayons look the same until you try them out. The only ones that are somewhat repeated are the gels,metallics & glitters. ie: lets say there's a regular purple, then there's a metallic purple, glitter purple & a gel purple. So yes it's a repeated color but not exactly. The main repeats are the primary colors, but they are repeated as gels,metallics & glitters. I highly recommend them. My daughters play with them every chance they get. Crayola 150-Count Telescoping Crayon Tower Date: 2008-08-26 The Crayon Tower I got this for my kids, and I am happy I did. The whole thing comes with a little surprise. A Crayon sharpener. Finally! And it all fits together in this compact design, nice to store away and contain everything. I am very pleased with it. For the parents who know how hard it is for their kids to stay within the lines with crayon ends that aren't sharp anymore, well, you know what I mean. :) Date: 2008-06-03 Just OK.... Like the other reviewers I was disappointed with the fact that there were multiples of some colors....besides that I find the telescoping feature difficult to work, and my daughter can't work it at all. I was also disappointed that this item didn't come with a rigid, snap-on cover instead of the flimsy plastic one. On the upside my daughter does use it a lot and enjoys searching for colors and being able to group her favorites together into one of the many sections. What I'd love to see is the rotating crayon tower that Crayola used to make, combined with the telescoping aspect of this one. Date: 2008-03-27 Fantastic!! I didn't buy this product through Amazon but through the Target near my house. There are 150 different crayons! A lot of them SEEM to be the same but they are not; just a shade different. These crayons are durable and I like the telescoping tower as it makes it easier to view the 2nd and 3rd level of crayons. I'm having a lot of fun with this product! Date: 2008-02-08 loves it This is awesome! I would love to have had this when i was a kid. Tons of crayons, tons of colors and it looks so pretty when its a tower!
