Great Idea!
I originally bought this for my family's Christmas dinner, where the conversation is lackluster, but I never busted it out. Then I went to a dinner with a bunch of people who knew each other, but not well. We played with the cards all night long. The people there really seemed to like it, and it created some great conversations. Highly recommended.

Table Topics Conversation Cards
We used the cards at a Christmas Luncheon, everyone thought the cards helped the conversation get started, especially in a crowd where everyone didn't know each other. Some questions were very thought provoking. I especially like the packaging.

Table topics "Good conversation starter"
This is a nice product and a nice gift. A definate must have esp. when you have guests or when you just want to have some fun with your friends and family. Makes a nice gift and the box is so pretty you can leave it sit out so you can enjoy it all the time.

cards are great - acrylic case not so much
I bought this, as well as Table Topics-Family. The questions on the cards are great. My daughter, who is 8, enjoys them and wants me to ask her the questions. We already talk a lot, but this brings up new topics to discuss. The only problem I had with this is both acrylic cubes were damaged when I received them. Not just a little cosmetic damage, but pieces that were broken off. Not very attractive for something that is meant to be displayed on a table. I contacted Loft Party, but didn't receive a reply from them. These were supposed to be gifts, but I'll just use them myself.

Tired of the sports-and-weather conversations at every party?
These table topic cards are great conversation starters. Better for mid- to large-sized groups. You're guaranteed to learn something new about everyone who participates. It's a great way to get 'outsiders' to feel comfortable within a new group. Some questions are funny, others are thought-provoking, but all are sure to spark a conversation or two. The cards themselves are of substantial quality as is the heavy-duty plexiglass case, so don't worry about them wearing out after a few parties. Perfect as a host/hostess gift, too.
