Lights and music, but also the rattles have been great. we get 30 minutes of peace each day. Thanks FP! Date: 2008-11-22 Baby's First Christmas Gift This is a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas, so it hasn't been open yet. I can't wait to see how she reacts to the colors. It was quite a bit less expensive through Amazon than other stores. Date: 2008-11-22 What a great item & easy to clean! This item may not b 4 every1, but my baby loves this. Even as early as the first week from the hospital he seemed to stare @ the lights. Now @ 5 mths, he grabs for things. I also liked that I could take the arch off& use it as a blanket 4 tummy time & rolling. Removing & placing back on his a bit tuff, (but possible). With mine: 1 arch does fall off, but [not when placed on surface- only when I go 2 lift it off the ground] so its not a big problem. Mat is easy 2clean & hang dries quickly. Love the soft/ louder sound setting & the rattle/music/ or nature sound options also. Just wished the butterflies moved more. Was a great babyshower gift! Would recommend 4 my friends! Date: 2008-11-18 Perfect Playmat I bought this playmat for my daughter when she was 2 weeks old. My older son hated the surfboard playmat we bought for him. So we decided to give this one a try since it seemed to have a lot of activities on it. My daughter loves it! My son, who is 2 now, even likes to play with it!!!! LOL!! My daughter's favorite is the zebra tail. At about 2 month old, she learned to roll over so she could grab a hold of it! She loves looking at the lights and the leaves. It is a very cute mat. Once my daughter learned to crawl at 5 1/2 months old, she no longer had an interest in it. :( So I put an ad for it on Craigs List and within the hour it was already sold because it is so cute! Also, I had never once had to change the batteries in it. Date: 2008-11-02 Great play gym!! Our son loves this!! He really started liking it around 2 months, with the lights at the top. He would just keep looking at them, and, as he's gotten older, he continues to love it. It was great for when he was first learning to reach - there's a little monkey who's tail curves around a small loop, and, that's when I noticed he was learning to reach for things - he was determined to get the monkey! Now, and 5 1/2 months, he pulls down the monkey within the first minute of setting him under, but, he still loves it, although is starting to outgrow it a bit, as he now rolls over on his belly, and ends up kicking at the long bars that hold it together, but, even given that, it still holds up amazingly well.
