My daughter was excited to see this go up but... 1) The material is flimsy and cheap looking. 2) It is NOT totally POP UP - to set it up you must insert two different poles (one in the door and one on the top) and insert a piece of cardboard into the window ledge, then you must button up the interior curtains, and hang the mirror. 3) The door either hangs ajar or she can't get it to open. 4) The curtains do not hang down because they are a crumpled mess (maybe if I steamed treated them or something, as the material is not heavy enough to hang on its own). 5) The inside curtains are precarious and often come down if my daughter steps on the edge of them (no doubt they will be the first part to rip). 6) The mirror is distorted. If I did not want to use any of the accessories, I could pop it up with no door, a droopy window ledge, no mirror, or inside dressing-room curtains and have it just be a pink box that my daughter could run into... Overall, I am not impressed and I would warn buyers to look at other products first. Date: 2007-06-08 Perfect little Play house My girls age 2 and 4 got this from Grandma for Christmas and they love it!!! They both fit inside and I also got a little trunk full of dress up clothes and they spend hours in there! Very durable and cute too! I'm getting this tent to my nieces now and would recommend it to anyone! Date: 2007-05-29 A Must Have For Your Little Girl Let your little girl's imagniation soar with this Playhut Beauty Boutique. My two girls (ages 3 1/2 years and 22 months ) love to play house with this product. It's the perfect size. The playhut collapses so it is great to hideaway if your space is limited, but the only con is I that I haven't mastered folding it so it's easily portable. It doubles great as a tent for outside, too. As far as its durability, the playhut has survived several toddlers tumbling all over it. Lastly, the cost is very affordable, too. It's a must have for your little girl! Date: 2007-04-18 The cutest playhut ever... I got this for my 4 year olds birthday, she is really into clothes and dress up. She told me that this was the best thing she got. The whole store is so cute and she loves to get dressed in the dressing room. She also takes her dolls into the dressing room to try on clothes, just like we do at the mall. Anyway this is a great playhut, for any little girly girl. Date: 2007-02-18 Perfect for a 3 YO girl who would like to have her own "house" Perfect for a 3 YO girl who would like to have her own "house". It's really designed as a beauty boutique, BUT can be any kind of "house" a girl of that age would like. AND... it folds flat and can be hidden behind the couch for those with limited storage space.
