User Submitted Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Chomp and Clack Alligator Push Toy Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-10-08 Dangerous! Poorly consrtucted. I was happy with this until the top bar came loose just a few days after we bought it! My 20 month old fell forward and landed with his neck on one of the vertical parts. It was terrible, and all because their glue didn't hold. If you buy this, please screw the top bar in place so this doesn't happen to you. This is not the only Melissa and Doug toy we have had glue issues with. Not recommended. Date: 2007-08-13 fun for my 9 month old My 9 month old son had been pulling up and cruising along the couch for some time & we thought he'd be thrilled with a toy he could push and walk with. When this cart arrived, I could barely get it together fast enough, he was so excited with it visually! The crocodiles are adorable, they don't clack loudly at all. The cart is designed so it won't tip backwards very easily, so my son can pull up on it to walk. He gets just the right speed for his age on our carpet, not too fast. Very bright and such a nice alternative to the plastic junk you see. Something you'd want to hold onto for awhile. And the price is great at $26. here on amazon. Date: 2007-06-21 My daughter LOVES this toy My daughter got this toy for Christams when she was 8 months old. By 9 months she was crusing around the house with it...doing laps. She is now 15 months old and can walk but she still loves to play with this toy. It is durable and the rubber on the wheels means it doesn't take off when it hits none carpeted surfaces Date: 2007-05-13 Great toy for babies almost walking! I love this toy, it's a little hard to push, and not for pulling up on. Once my son was pulling up and standing on his own, he really enjoyed it. Date: 2007-01-18 very cute toy, but very difficult to manuever this toy looks great, hand painted and crafted, colorful... but for my 15 month old toddler, it's too heavy to push about...we have carpeting in our home, so it's definately meant to move around smoother on hardwood floors, linoleum, etc. also, it's quite heavy, so it gets stuck in the "corner" after he has gotten tired of pushing it around, I usually must help him to turn it around. I can't imagine this toy for a baby just learning how to walk (10mos & on...)A bit expensive too, but it is wood, not plastic,so...
