I bought this for my son for Christmas last year and he was only 2. Christmas day the backwheels kept falling off. THen the fuse blew the next day and the correct one was inacessible. I had to then explain to my son why Santa had to take back the motorcycle.

Good Starter power toy
This a great toy for your 18 Month to start out on his first powered vehicle. With a top end of 2MPH, you don't have to worry about any horrific accidents. At first he would just sit on and play with the all the buttons on the handle bars but never really go anywhere. At 2 he is having a lot more fun with it and is not scared. Seems to stay charged a long time. I would buy it again.
