User Submitted LEGO Star Wars Y-Wing Fighter ReviewsDate: 2008-11-30 Lego Star Wars Y-Wing Fighter Review (I couldn't think of a better title! :( I think that this set captures the essence of one of the Rebel Alliance's best joint strike fighters, besides the X-Wing. It's very durable. It looks like the real thing, too, with all the inner workings exposed for easy maintanence. I turned the bombs into lights on the area between the engines and the main fuselage. After everything's been said and done, this is the best set I've ever gotten. Date: 2008-11-26 So rewarding to build, very disappointed the first time one of the rockety who ha things fell off We build a lot of legos in our house, and Star Wars legos are the ultimate in cool. This was such a rewarding fighter to build and it looked totally awesome. And then my son gave it one loop to loop around the family room deftly dodging all humans and animals, and one of the rockety things fell off. So we put it back on. It has fallen off twice since then. I rate lego sets on how fun they are to build, whether or not my son can build it alone (he's 7), can we play with it, really play with it, and how good are the extras (like lego dudes or accessories) So becuase I had to put the rocket blasters back on three times, this kit is a four. But it was very rewarding to build. Date: 2008-06-21 Fun & Entertaining We bought this for our grandson and he couldn't get the box opened fast enough. He loves Legos, and he loves Star Wars, so this was a perfect combination !! Good for hours of entertainment !! Date: 2008-06-04 Awesome! I'm 10 years old. Legos are very fun to me. This product was very fun to build. Some parts were tricky, but I figured them out. After I built it, it came apart a little as I was playing with it, but I put it back together. Try not to play with it too much. The fun is more in building it, not in playing with it. Date: 2008-01-18 Another treat for Lego enthusiasts! My son picked this out as something he wanted for Christmas and was absolutely delighted with it. Of course he finished it much faster than I would have wanted . . . but he enjoyed it immensely, and it will soon be disassembled for reassembly sometime in the future.
