He is learning so much about the computer and numbers. His eye and hand coordination is really improving too! He is also learning about money by earning webdollars. We love all the webkinz. Date: 2007-07-08 great toy i gave this to my niece for her birthday and she loves it. she gets online and learns how to care for it and plays games and just has a blast. Date: 2007-07-02 Another cute addition to the Webkin's family As with all Webkinz, the enjoyment a child has with a stuffed animal is multiplied with the addition of the Webkinz website. With this website, the child can interact with their stuffed animal by taking care of it. There are also educational and fun games that can be played to get "money" for their own little Webkinz world. The Black Lab is a great addition to the Webkinz family. It is decently sized and its fur is very soft and "silky". I thought the leathery nose was very clever. The Black Lab is worth the money not just because it is a nicely made stuffed animal, but because it has that added fun factor of the Webkinz world. Date: 2007-04-15 Way too expensive! Don't buy from Amazon! Here's a hint when buying Webkinz: Unless it is retired (Cheeky dog and cat, Unicorn, Gray and White cat) or Seasonal (Love Puppy and Sherbet Bunny), then don't spend over $15. Look on the web and you'll see the Dalmatian for sale for over $50. I waited and got it for the usual $13.50 at my local Hallmark! I advise you to spend your money when it comes out. (I do have the Dalmatian, for all who truly care) Date: 2007-04-09 Webkinz customer service is terrible. Shame on you, Webkinz! If you just want an expensive, cute little stuffed animal, by all means buy away. If you are looking for a nice place on the web for your kids to play, consider that your kids may walk away very frustrated. There is no way to contact Webkinz (that I can find) for the following issues: 1) Your child can use up a half hour of their alloted computer time just trying to log on to Webkinz. 2) There are many error massages. Most do not make sense. Webkinz technical support offers no support. It basically just blames any problem you are having on your ISP or that your Flash Player is not working (even though it worked yesterday and it will work again tomorrow). 3) It sometimes logs your child out right in the middle of a game. My children have simply stopped bothering with Webkinz and have lost interest in their stuffed Webkinz toys.
