User Submitted Jakks - Laser Challenge P.R.O. Deluxe Blaster 2-Player: 2 Blasters, 2 Scopes & 2 Barrel Extensions ReviewsDate: 2008-05-25 Good concept, but has a MAJOR flaw. After trying these types of guns, I will never buy another laser gun that doesn't have a vest with it. The target being on the gun itself is a good concept, but it creates a very bad glitch with it. You see, as long as the gun is firing or reloading, it won't register any hits, meaning anyone who is firing is invincible. There is a way to counter this, though, and that is to limit the amount of times a player can reload. However, this is a pain because you have an infinite amount of reloads and people can cheat. I suggest buying something like the Laser Challenge Neutralizer; it registers hits as you're firing and is less than half the price. Date: 2008-02-20 The best toy ever I just bought this toy and it is absolutely amazing. You get a screen that shows your ammo, hits, and rate of fire. You can choose single shot or automatic which is way cool But be careful because you have 25 shots till you need to reload (only takes like a second). A review said the scope wasn't necessary. WRONG! If you are playing outdoors in a big area the scopes (you have 3) are awesome. But if you don't like it you can just detach it. The company is modest about the firing distance I shot my friend from farther than whatever it says. I also love the shoulder thing that extends out so you can steady your aim. You can choose teams or free for all. You can even switch between pro or beginer. And last but not least you can hide behind a tree/wall and use the bipod for when they come around the corner. Overall this product is awesome and once I save up some more money I'll buy a second pair. I've played many types of laser tag at friends house's but this beats them all. Date: 2008-01-07 Very fun We purchased 6 of these guns for the family. 5 of the 6 work great. One has been having some trouble. We have yet to contact the manufacturer. You may want to consider a simple pistol. The scopes are useless and we seldom ever use the bipod. They are a blast to play with though. The kids loved them as well as us adults. Date: 2007-12-28 Laser tag mega fun, indoors and out! We purchased this set of laser tag blasters for our boys, 14 and 11 this year for Christmas(07). We also purchased two sets of smaller versions of this blaster by Jakks. They all work together and the kids have had a blast with their cousins playing laser tag, both indoors and out. The blasters are a bit annoying for the adults when we are trying to converse--hence the reason we know they work well outside!! A good parent feature! I love the fact that this deluxe blaster works well with the smaller laser blasters by jakks. You do have to read the instructions to see how they "lock on" to other guns so that you can play in teams. Great toy! Great fun!! Even for the adults!
