User Submitted International Playthings Lift-Off Rocket Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-01-07 Red Rocket Spaceship The Rocket was purchased for my grandson. The product is very durable as well as lets the little ones use their imagination. With the sound effects and the extra moon people and astronauts - the product provides hours of play. Also, with door that opens to the inside of the rocket - it provides plenty of storage space for the extra parts. I was very pleased with the Rocket as was my grandson.. Thank you Date: 2008-01-07 Our grandson LOVES this rocket What a thrill it is to see your grandson open all his toys for Christmas, and for the next few days, he plays with only one....this Lift-Off Rocket that his grandparents gave him! He's 18 months old and thoroughly enjoyed opening and closing the doors while inserting and removing the little astronauts and the spacedog. He also loves pushing the button to start the countdown. He hasn't figured out how to make it "fly" by holding the built-in handle while waving the rocket over his head, but he will eventually. He had loads of fun with this rocket. The only down-side, if you can call it that, is that two of the three doors come off easily, and he is unable to reattach them himself. I am sure they come off so easily in order to prevent them from breaking. So far this rocket has endured everything he can do to it. When his birthday comes up in a few months, we will certainly consider getting him other toys from International Playthings, as this was a mega-hit! Date: 2008-01-07 Fun toy red rocket This rocket is durable. It is easy to "launch" for both my 2 and 3 year olds because of the handle on the side. The sounds are good as the rocket counts down. The people, moon, car, dog, etc. are cute. Date: 2008-01-07 Lots of fun This is a cool toy, modern, colorful and fun. My 2 yr. old has played with it constantly since Christmas and loves the moon rover, doggy and astronauts. There are many ways to play with this rocket....note: the bed lifts up to reveal the spaceship's bathroom (our 6 yo nephew figured this out!) We also gave him the roaring rockets book and curious george space ride dvd to go with it to start learning about space. We regularly blast off to the moon and beyond! Fun for all. Date: 2008-01-01 Not bad at all! We purchased this toy through amazon.com, via one of their merchants for 39.99... we received it in two days, wow! Regarding the toy, our 2 year old likes it, with its swinging doors and little people; overall, a 3.5 out of 5, good recommendations overall; we would buy something like this again.
