puppy grows
We purchased the puppy grows for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. It was a hit with her. She named it Princess and was excited that the puppy could say it's own name and also my granddaughter's name. It has become one of her favorite toys.

Jo Jo does the trick!
My daughter just turned 5 years old and was expecting a "real" dog for her birthday. With our schedule it is just impossible to take care of a puppy. So, we bought this for her. She was excited when she saw the puppy, but when the dog said her name she almost passed out. Not to mention what happened when the puppy began to grow. Needless to say, she has forgotten all about the "real" dog, at least for now.

Wish the disc worked....but still cute
We tried using the software for this product and could never get it to work. But it is a cute puppy and my daughter likes it. Though she has gotten tired of it - and it is only 5 months after she got it.

No USB
I bought this for my daughters birthday. At the party, she opened her presents and of course there was alot of garbage on the floor that I put into a big bag. She wanted to play with the dog so I got out my laptop and took the dog and asked her for the wire and she said she didn't see a wire. Parents went into the big bag or garbage and we all started looking for this wire. We didn't see it. I was going to return the dog (although my daughter didn't want me to) and get another one with a wire. I did a search for reviews on toyrus and amazon and both sites people were disappointed that it DOES NOT come with the wire. Luckily I found one in my house. But I am very disappointed in the fact that you have to spend about [...] on this toy and it doesn't come with a wire. It makes no sense since the whole point of this product is for the dog to know your name. It WON'T know your name unless YOU have the right USB cable. It should have been packaged with the dog. I was very disappointed with that. On the other hand, my daughter loved the dog. She plays with it and it shrunk down back to size which I didn't know it did that and it scared her at first. She still plays with it. She remanes it every time it shrinks.

Puppy really does grow everyday
The growing puppy was the only toy my 4 1/2 yr old wanted Santa to bring for Christmas. It arrived on time and she was soooo excited Christmas morning to open it. She plays with it everyday and loves feeding it and grooming it. Although she doesn't spend a lot of time playing with it. Its an occasional pet and feed here and there through out the day. She also gets a huge kick out it knowing her name and she named it Sally. Be warned, you need to program it with your name and its name and it does not include a "b" USB cable which my husband had to go out and buy in order to program the puppy.
