Cute toy
I wish his eyes moved around like the original, not as good as the Tickly Me Elmo, but a nice addition to the set.

Hope you get one that works
Had read other reviews about Cookie Monster not rolling over properly, but I ignored them and purchased the toy anyway. Cookie Monster would not sit down to roll over, but would remain standing and bang his head on the floor a dozen times. When he managed to sit down, he would not rollover as described, and then was unable to stand back up. On a positive note the return process with Amazon was extremely easy and efficient.

My husband loves it!
Bought this for my husband because he's been wanting one for quite some time. We also have the Elmo Xtra Special Edition. (our baby is a month old, so they're still dad's toys).
These are very fun and amusing. The downfall is they eat through batteries, so a charger and some re-chargeable batteries would make a nice accompaniment gift. It does sound very much like Cookie Monster.
Also, hard to use without a large section of hard floor. my tiny apartment kitchen and bathroom floors don't quite cut it, this thing moves a lot.

He eats batteries
My baby loves this toy....my two year thinks he is okay. I honestly hate how he keeps eating my batteries and when he eats them he eats 6 at a time......Even though Cookie is cute I am not sure he is worth the bAttery expense

Cookie monster giggles
I bought this thing for my great-grandson's first Christmas. I knew he was too young for it, but I figured he'd grow into it. But my son, the baby's grandfather took it over instead. It is now sitting on his desk in his home office. This toy is one of those things that really makes you laugh and giggle. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Buy one, you'll like it. I think it's better for grownups, than for babies anyway.
