Geotrax is great...but...
We, like everyone else, LOVE GeoTrax. However, this set is not as exciting as some of the other pieces. It IS just as well made and easy to put together as everything else. That is the main reason I love them so much, is that they really do take a beating of toddler proportions and don't break, and they really are easy to put together, even for a toddler. I do highly recommend buying extra track sets even when you buy a big set like this, there really is not a lot of track with them and you WILL want to expand. I highly doubted that my toddler would be interested in this, and though he does not play the way it was intended, he does play with it for long periods of time. It's a great investment that will last through many kids, and currently, they have a great re-sell value too. I think I like it just as much as my kids! Enjoy!

Great Gift
My 3 year-old nephew loves this toy! It is easy for him to use. He really loves the remote control, especially since he can make the train go forward and reverse. I highly recommend for toddlers interested in trains!

Great fun for my godson
Got this toy for my godson - he started playing the minute it was opened and goes back to it on his own. That is what a toy is supposed to do - right?

Want more of this product
We bought this for our 3 1/2 yr old grandson. Not only did he love it, but our 4 yr old grandaughter wants one now. It proved to be very sturdy and works well. We are now looking to add to it, and purchase one for our grandaughter on her birthday.

Excellent Toy!! Kid Tough!! Kids Love It!!
We received this as a Christmas present. Excellent toy!! The track pieces and the train are VERY sturdy and well built. The track is fairly easy to assemble and does not come apart easily during standard play. The remote control for making the train go forward and backwards works flawlessly. Another key feature of this train is that when you haven't entered a command to the train for several minutes, the train shuts off. So, if a kid walks away from the toy, you won't drain the batteries.

The toy is expandable with penty of trains to buy. I wish there were more of the little people toys that go with the sets, but parents may want to make sure that smaller children don't put them in their mouths.

This is probably the best thought out toy train I've seen and a solid alternative to Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway - Thomas the Tank Engine (though we like that too). Highly Recommended!!
