Great Train Set
Our son loves this train set. He is 2 and can operate it by himself. It is very durable and easy to put together.

Kids love it
I got this toy for my grandson for his 2nd birthday. He got many toys that day, but he kept playing with this one. My 10 and 12 year olds loved playing with it too. It is very durable. I have seen him step on many of the pieces, and it doesn't seem to phase them. It has been a month since I gave it to him and he still plays with it all day everyday. How much better can you get!

Fisher Price should be ashamed!
Got this as a gift from friends overseas. After putting it all together, loaded the batteries and NOTHING. Took the control and train engine to ToysRUs and begged for a new control and engine, which ToysRUs gave me. They didn't work either. Called Fisher Price and they sent a new engine - still didn't work. Called Fisher Price again and they sent a new control - still didn't work. So 3 controls and 3 engines later and still NOTHING. No way to return this piece of s---, as it was a gift from friends overseas. Would give this NO stars if that were an option, but Fisher Price does get a star for trying to fix this twice to no avail.

Fun and still encourages imagination
We spent a long time debating plastic tracks over wooden tracks and I had wanted the wooden push trains thinking they would be better for my childs imagination. We received this as a gift and at first I was disappointed at the thought of it. But our 2 year old loved it from the minute we took it out of the box and never looked back.

What really encouraged me was that although I was worried he'd just sit and use the remote, he really interacted with the toy a lot more. He plays with the people and the elevators. And he takes almost any other toy with wheels and runs it on the track, too.

Especially considering I was hesitant when we first saw this, I am extremely pleased with this toy and it is a favorite in our house.

Great product, need more track
After looking at a bunch of train sets this one seemed to be the most comprehensive. Unfortunately my cousin wanted to make the track longer than the pieces would allow. He had fun with it but I'm not sure how long it kept him entertained since he lives far away.
