User Submitted Fisher-Price Geotrax Rail and Road System Grand Central Station Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-05-27 Great first train track set for young ones! My son received his first Geo Trax set when he was 2 and LOVED it every since. So, I purchased this set for my nephew for his 2nd birthday. He won't stop playing with the train and the figures that come with it. Great buy! Date: 2008-05-22 A Definite Hit, but Don't Forget the Batteries! I bought this toy for my grandson's second birthday, which was 2 days ago. This was the last present he unwrapped at his party (the box was so big he laid on top of it to get the wrapping off...so cute!) and he was none too happy that we put it away to open after all his party guests had left. However, he played happily with his new toys for several hours until my son put this together for him...then they were ALL yesterday's news! He has played with NOTHING ELSE since this was put together for him. He puts his cars up and down the ramps, excitedly watches the train emerge from under the bridge and squeals with delight when it goes down the ramp. It didn't take him any time at all to figure out how to work the remote. The construction is heavy duty and will stand up to lots of little boy abuse! It is definitely the favorite of his new toys. I appreciate that he plays with the track even if he doesn't play with the train all the time. His toy cars have found a new speedway! It does take up a bit of room, and we've already "fixed" the track numerous times due to the rough and tumble play of a 2 year old, but it snaps right back in place with no problem at all. I know he will definitely be getting expansion sets for this for Christmas this year! One note: this takes six AAA batteries, so don't forget to pick them up too. (Yep, you guessed it...this Nana forgot to buy batteries!) Date: 2008-04-21 GeoTrax is back It's been a while since our first GeoTrax set, but my son just turned 6 and I got him this set. I am very glad to see FP has added reverse and the new track pieces. The new switches and more selection of track lengths make this set more versitile than ever. The addition of a passenger and opening "cockpit" adds very little, and the cockpit "canopy" seems to be poorly constructed compared to other GeoTrax. Also, this addition makes the train bulkier and skews the scale a bit, but that is nit-picky adult stuff. My boy loves it. Date: 2008-03-21 An excellent train station Well... I am buying Geotrax toys since 2003, and we are continuosly buying all kind of trains, cars, helicopters, airplnaes, boats and all accesories for each one. This train station is an excellent addition, first because Fisher Price did not consider it before, and they make it fun and beutiful, as other Geotrax toys. It has an elevator, a crane for move goods, and obviusly is compatible with the entire geotrax line. I'll be uploading some photos and a video from this excellent toy. Date: 2008-03-11 Excellent Geo Trax - Grand Central Station w Bonus DVD & EXTRA Car and Figure - Rail & Road System Playset - Fisher-Price My 3 year old Great Nephew loves it. I got it as a birthday present for him and he couldn't wait to get home to set it up.
