The Hasbro: Ton Scoot n Scoop 3 in 1 Ride on is a dump truck that helps boys transition from crawling to walking, then converts to a ride-on toy for added fun! Little boys will love the scooping action that picks up the shape-blocks and other small toys (not included), and then tosses them into the dump bed! When your child is ready, the seat easily converts to a walker handle and the gravel guard becomes a ride-on handle. The wide rear axle provides extra stability. You can attach the REVVIN BEEPIN' WHEEL toy to the truck, or kids can play with it separately. A simple turn of the key gets the fun started, activating sounds and vibrating motions just like a real steering wheel! Blinking directional lights, a clicking gearshift, adjustable mirror, and realistic road vibrations give drivers-in-training loads of options for busy driving fun! A long lasting toy that is designed for children from 9 months to 3 years!

Okay
This toy was okay.

The sounds are VERY loud, so much so that the volume hurts our ears, we put packaging tape over the speakers to try to mute the noise to protect our son's ears. There is no way to turn off the sound except to remove batteries.

The seat is difficult to lift up for an adult; pretty much impossible for a toddler.

It would be nice if the truck came with 9-12 little blocks instead of only three. The storage under the seat would hold a lot more than 3. We've lost one so we're down to two.

Grows with your child!
I'm all about toys that will last longer than a month. This tonka truck is a big hit with my son. We got it for him when he was 9 mo old and it was worth the money! At first he liked just standing and moving the objects like the key/blinker/horn for the noise. Now he loves practicing to walk with it. Eventually he will be able to ride on it too!
My only annoyance is that when the key is turned you have to wait awhile for the engine noise to stop. You can't just turn the key back to make it stop. It also seems a little loud and there's no volume control. I think it bothers me more than him.
Overall, he's having fun with this toy!

lots of fun at one
My baby loves this truck! He's still learning how to walk without support, and loves to both push this truck and ride on it. The steering wheel is great, and the shape sorter is fun, but put on a back burner with everything else goin on. We also got the crane that attaches to the back, and he plays with that just as much. Great tonka toy.

Could be improved
My 18 month old son does enjoy this toy but the design could use some improvement. The brown seat has to be completely removed and then inserted into the back in order to make this a walker. It's impossible for my son to change it himself. We just don't understand why they couldn't hinge the seat so he could convert it from walker to ride-on easily.

The scoop-up feature is cool - my 5 year old likes that part a lot.

Not That Great
My 12 month old is not interested in this toy. I think that this toy is cute and looks like lots of fun, but not for him. He will push the car around for a few minutes about once a week, but other than that the toy just sits in our living room. Sometimes I put my son on the truck and push him around the house, and he is entertained for a few minutes. Hopefully he will enjoy the truck when he is able to ride it on his own!
