My daughter LOVES this!
My 2 1/2 year old LOVES Barbie ANYTHING. This doll is great for her! It sings 2 songs from the Island Princess Movie. Mt daughter brings it in and loves when I sing along with it, especially the lullaby. The peacock feathers come off easily, but it snaps right back on. You just might have to do this several times a day, or you can convieniently "lose" it for a few days. Great for any Barbie lover!

I was very pleased with this purchase. The price was great. The shipping time was exactly what I expected and she arrived in excellent condition. My daughter was very happy Christmas morning.

nice doll
i bought this doll for my 4 y old daughter, she loves it! The doll is nice and it sings softly. However it keeps losing her shoes. Mattel don't you know this about many Barbie dolls?!!!! Please do something maybe like the My Scene doll's shoes???

Cute doll
My 3 and 4 year old love this doll. The singing feature is nice and works quite well. They gave up on the feathers and shoes since they fall off too easily. Hide the shoes if you have little ones like my 1 year old who puts everything in their mouth. Barbie hasn't kept her shoes on since I was a kid and I am 34! I haven't seen the crown or brush since the doll came out of the package but that hasn't bothered the girls. All in all, a cute doll with a few minor issues.

4 year old girl goes nuts
My 4 year old loves the movie, and wouldn't let go of this doll on Christmas morning to unwrap anything else. She loves it.

My wife and I resisted the whole Barbie-thing, but the message of the movies (with regards to women) is better than a lot of the Disney products. If you can overlook the unattainable body image, the rest of the message is good: strong, capable, active, etc. At least she's not lying around waiting for a prince to kiss her; or waiting for an abusive, beast, boyfriend to turn into a nice guy.
