User Submitted Mattel Barbie & The Diamond Castle Prince Ian Ken Doll ReviewsDate: 2008-11-21 Is this a joke? I purchased this doll online as a Christmas present for my daughter. She doesn't really care about the story, but wanted to have a prince for her princesses. However, her favorite quality of this particular prince is his guitar. I figured that it was a great choice, especially since the description states that the doll, "features Ian's gem guitar." So I was expecting something more than very thin cardboard, about the same thickness as what is used to package the doll. Now I'm not sure if I should still give it to her and risk possible tears on Christmas morning when she discovers the guitar was basically a scam, or try to talk her into choosing a different prince to accompany her princesses. I'm very disappointed that I should even have to be making this choice. Shame on Mattel for marketing it in this manner when it would have cost so little to have done it right! Date: 2008-06-25 Barbie & The Diamond Castle The Twin Musicians The handsome and rogue heroes Ian and Jeremy are featured here, bestowed with their gem guitars and dressed in fashions from the movie. They make the perfect accompaniment to the beautiful Emma and Isabel dolls for girls to play out all their adventures on the way to discovering the magical castle, and learning the power of friendship. Dolls cannot stand alone. Each sold separately.
