Is this a joke?
I purchased this doll online as a Christmas present for my daughter. She doesn't really care about the story, but wanted to have a prince for her princesses. However, her favorite quality of this particular prince is his guitar. I figured that it was a great choice, especially since the description states that the doll, "features Ian's gem guitar." So I was expecting something more than very thin cardboard, about the same thickness as what is used to package the doll. Now I'm not sure if I should still give it to her and risk possible tears on Christmas morning when she discovers the guitar was basically a scam, or try to talk her into choosing a different prince to accompany her princesses. I'm very disappointed that I should even have to be making this choice. Shame on Mattel for marketing it in this manner when it would have cost so little to have done it right!
