Wow,I'm 42 and when I saw this on Amazon I knew I must have it. Not as a toy but a reminder of a much more entertaining time before reality TV.

TOS Phaser and Communicator Review
These Art Asylum toys just keep getting better. I've purchase several of these and I'm very impressed with the detail and quality. I've only had a few that were not 100% The Phaser and Communicator are by far the best representations on the market, for the price. If you're a TOS fan, you can't go wrong with these. Seriously looking forward to the Tricorder.

as trekie as you can get ,for under 50 bucks
this is great for the money ,real weight, sounds ,size.I sometimes have a hard time remembering these are toys ,they are realy great.
