User Submitted Step2 Naturally Playful Sand & Water Center ReviewsDate: 2010-08-28 Great fun for kids My daughter is almost 2 and she loves this sand center. The price was decent compared to sandboxes that sit on the ground. The lid connects to the base with bungee cords that keep all water out and my daughter can not open the sandbox unless I do it for her. It wasn't hard to put together and it is pretty sturdy. My daughter is 25 pounds and she climbs in the sandbox to play. We have used it just as a sandbox and also added water to one side. Of course the water and sand all get mixed together, but we just leave the lid off in the afternoon to let the sand dry out. Overall this is a really good toy and my daughter plays with it every time she is outside. Date: 2010-08-15 Great for warm weather Living in Arizona our summers are so hot and we like to stay out of the sun when we can. This water table has been wonderful for my toddler because the umbrella keeps her out of the sun and we fill the whole table with water so she's nice and cool. My daughter begs to go outside and play with this toy and since it provides shade it allows us to do just that in the 110 degree weather. Love it and can't wait to put sand in it when the weather cools down. Date: 2010-08-11 Fun in the Sand and Sun I purchased the sand and water table for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. Her dad assembled it at her birthday party, and the kids had a blast! It's a great educational toy and fun too! Date: 2010-08-10 Sand and Water Table This is a great toy and my grand children love it, love it, love it. It is sturdy and the lid is wonderful and keeps all kinds of insects and animals out. It was a great buy. Date: 2010-08-04 Fun for child, pain for mom to assemble This toy has a simple plastic design with 'difficult' legs to install. If you don't have a high powered electric drill you will NOT be able to assemble this toy. You must drill eight long screws through the plastic legs and body. One of my legs now leaks water where the screw is located. My child really enjoys this toy and as the other reviewers have stated, "water + sand = MUD."
