Calculator Did Not Work
I recently purchased this toy for my three and five year old children. It worked well the first day. On the second day my five year old told me the numbers were not working and the screen remained on 0. I arranged for an exchange through Amazon and am awaiting the replacement. Today I noticed another reviewer had a similar problem, so it would appear this may be a manufacturing issue. I will keep tabs on this toy's performance to be sure the replacement works. It is a shame, because it is a terrific, fun, and educational toy for children in this age group.

It is wonderful and my grandson loves it. He is 4 year old and plays with it every day.

Great for play and beyond
This is a great toy on many levels. For kids pretending they're store owners, then learning to count money, and we even use it as our cash register when we have garage sales. It's the one toy we've kept even after our kids have outgrown it.

My four year old loves it...
We play store and she sells us her toys...a Sales Executive in the making :) The play money is great. The only down side is the cash drawer opens very quickly and the money flies out if you are not careful.

Broken after 3 months of play.
I've had my eye on this educational toy for some time and finally purchased it for my children as a Christmas gift. It has had just three months of use and already three of the buttons don't work, including the "equals" button. Without those buttons the toy is useless for educational purposes, and it is frustrating for my five year old who wants to add sums and such. There have been so many good reviews for this product that I must conclude that I just got a dud, but it is no less disappointing.
