A Wounderful Classic!
I just love playing this game w/my daughter. She got it when she was 3 years old and still likes to play it.It is not to difficult to learn to play and is wounderful for small children. All you have to do is spin the arrow and either pick cherries or if you spill your basket put them back on the tree.Very simple but also very addictive! This is one of the few games that my daughter actually follows the directions for instead of making up her own, which is always wounderful for her but not so much fun for everyone else.A great classic game that I grew up playing and I am glad it is still around for my kids.At such a low price you can't go wrong.5 Stars all the way!!

Excellent Game
In respone to the above fore mentioned comment; this is certainly NOT "Ho-Hum Cheerio". But I guess there is alway a rotten apple (or should I say Cherry in the group)!! My 3 1/2 year old son just LOVES this game and so does his father and I. It is excellent for teaching basic counting and math skills and the every so needed wait your turn, etc.

Ho-Hum, Cherry-O
I used to play this game with my mom. Recently, I played it with my niece, who is 4. I now feel bad about all the times I made my mom play it with me. As we were playing, my niece said, "I'm not really having much fun, I'm just playing it for you."

That about sums it up - "Hi Ho Cherry-O - bores the britches off 4-year olds."

You spin the wheel. A number comes up. You pick some cherries. You spin the wheel. The birds come. You lose some cherries. The last person to get bored and leave wins.

Personally, I think eating boogers is more entertaining.

Hi-Ho Cherry-O
This is a great game for small children who aren't quite ready for big kid games. The game is very simple, and doesn't require any sort of strategy. It's mainly all luck, but if you think about it, luck games are really the only kind of games small children will be able to beat you at! The little cherries are cute, and so are the little holes in which to put them.

I would recommend this game to any parent looking for a board game for their young child.

A favorite for years...and still going strong
I never played this game as a child so it was new to me too when my three year old received it for his birthday. It quickly became his favorite game and still ranks highly among his favorites at age 5! We found that it was perfect for our young child because it could be played relatively quickly and was easy to understand. Playing this game regularly helped perfect his counting skills and taught him about basic game etiquette.
