My sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren just love to play Scrabble with me in several languages. We have this game in English, Spanish, French and Italian. Family togetherness and word power... what else could we ask for? Date: 2008-01-18 Scrabble was the answer to helping my family have a fun Xmas vacation. I was very sick over the Xmas vacation and my daughter who came in from Colorado and my husband played the game almost every day. It was a great competition and allowed me to rest to get well. I have never been so happy to have bought something. Date: 2008-01-14 Newer version of Deluxe Scrabble is more plastic than original I bought this Deluxe Scrabble based on the experiences I have had with using my parents deluxe scrabble. This deluxe version is good, as it has a turntable board with "slots" that you can fit the letter tiles into so the tiles wont move when the board is turned. My complaint is these slots are much shallower than the older deluxe version my parents have. Also, this version is more plastic than the older one. The letter tile holders that each player uses is no longer the nice wood of the older versions. It is plastic, and now that I notice it is visible on the picture of the game box, but I never noticed prior to purchasing. It somewhat feels cheap, but the game is still great. Also includes an hourglass timer. Date: 2008-01-12 Scrabble Board Game Have always loved the Scrabble Word Game and when recently I played it with my brother and his wife, I knew that I had to have one like theirs. It was a revolving one and made playing so much easier! No worry about tiles shifting with the turning of the new game- just love the new set-up. Date: 2008-01-12 USER FRIENDLY This game is one of my favourite because its hassle free. I dont worry about someone hitting over the board or losing the placement of my tiles. It is as it states a deluxe item. Fun! Fun! Fun!
