User Submitted Radio Flyer All-Terrain Cargo Wagon Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-01-09 Nostalgic But Not Sturdy I was so happy to have purchased this for our first grandchild -- looking forward to years of pulling and playing -- just as I remember doing with my Radio Flyer Wagon! However, I was very disappointed with the material used. Instead of 2x4 wood strength as I expected, it is made with very thin side slats and the bottom wood is a vaneer that is already buckling in small areas. I can't imagine that the side slats will hold up for long with the wear-and-tear of little people climbing in and out! I'm willing to be proven wrong, but still disappointed that it is not the sturdy, heavy wood construction of yester-year! I will say that our grandson loves it, and, in his own little 16 month old way, begs to ride again and again. Date: 2006-11-12 LOVE IT My daughter loves riding in her wagon. It's also easy for her grandparents to take her around the neighborhood and around the backyard. Date: 2006-04-25 ATW #29 ALL TERRAIN CARGO VEHICLE I purchased this item last year, as a gift. When it was used at the beach, I was extremely disappointed that it was far too difficult to wheel in the sand. We were carrying a baby and some typical beach gear. We tried it both with and without releasing some air from the tires. Be sure to measure your trunk space before purchasing, as it does not fit well into some SUVs and is very heavy. It requires about 1-1/2 hours assembly time, unless you do this kind of thing everyday. I was thinking of purchasing another for normal terrain, but i would like some alternative suggestions, if anyone has any ideas. The low rating was due both to my annoyance at trying to pull it through the sand and the "so what" attitude i received when i called the company asking for alternative suggestions. I would be curious to know if the costco item is #29 or the smaller wagon. Date: 2006-04-10 A great wagon used in place of a stroller We love this wagon and use it instead of a stroller at the beach, park, zoo, etc. We also got a great deal for it at Costco---$74.99!!! Date: 2006-03-15 Excellent gift My husband and I purchased this wagon for our son's first birthday and have been very pleased with it. There's plenty of room in it for my son to ride in as well as items we may need for the excursion. The wagon rides smoothly and easily over bumpy terrain. Since our family loves the outdoors, this was an ideal pick and we are happy with the purchase.
