User Submitted Radio Flyer All-Terrain Cargo Wagon Reviews (cont...)Date: 2006-02-24 ATW Cargo Wagon I purchased an ATW CargoWagon for my two great grandchildren and it was an INSTANT SUCCESS!! It is sturdy, had nice, large tires and is EXACTLY what I hoped it would be. This was a true succcess story of ordering on AMAZON. Thank you. - Chervyl Bartos Date: 2006-02-01 Aunt Brenda I purchased this as a Christmas Gift for my 1 year old nephew. Very pleased with the online price through Toys-R-Us and Amazon.com, it was $50.00 less than in a retail store! Very prompt shipping, had to be put together but not difficult with common household tools. Very nice quality wagon, top of the line and well worth the money. Rubber tires give a more comfortable ride for small children. I also purchased the pad set. Fits perfectly, looks great nad comfy ride, but be sure to purchase the pad set for the Model #29 All-Terrain Cargo Wagon (BP-29), as other pad sets will not fit! Very nice onverall. Don't hesitate to buy! Date: 2005-12-28 Fun wagon with limits We've had the wagon for a year and it is great, durable wagon for toting the tot around. But there are a few "myths" I would like to debunk. 1. Great for all-terrain. I suppose but even in my relatively level backyard, my boys bumps all over the wagon when I pull him a long. It's very nice on smooth dirt, gravel and asphalt. 2. "Memories of a red wagon." You're kid might have memories of being pulled in a red wagon; but don't think he/she will be able to pull this wagon. It's big and awkward for a young kind. If you want a wagon where they can tote their playthings, thing smaller. The only other item worth mentioning is that the pain job on these wagon isn't very good. In the one year we've had it; it's be left outside a few times in light rain and the paint is all-ready peeling. Date: 2005-09-26 Everyone should have a red wagon If you don't have fond memories of a little red wagon from your childhood, it's not too late to make memories now, and this is just the wagon! I had to get my son a red wagon, it just had to happen, and this was definitely the one. I only have a few constructive criticisms. Assembly wasn't a highlight, but I guess it never is. I was dissappointed to see plastic used anywhere in the construction of this wagon, as of course, the one I had growing up certainly did not contain any plastic. That said, the construction is still very sturdy. I wasn't excited about the exposed bolt heads in the wagon bed. I had hoped those would at least have caps. My only other piece of feedback is that the wooden sides are not so easily removeable. You'll need tools for that. Overall, that would be the one thing I would change. Otherwise, this is a wonderful wagon, worth every penny. The large all terrain tires are wonderful, and they don't add any noticable weight. The wagon moves along very easily on and off road. The bed provides tons of room for kids and kid stuff. A great wagon, everyone should have one! Date: 2005-09-17 GREAT WAGON!! My parents bought this wagon for our one year old son's birthday and we couldn't be happier with it -- he absolutely loves riding in it! We also have a two and a half year old who is very big for his age and both kids fit very comfortably. I would definitely recommend getting the padding (just make sure you get the Radio Flyer Pad set that fits this specific wagon) as it seems to make it a much more comfortable ride for the kids. Both my sons absolutely love riding in this wagon -- we use it on the street and have also had great success trekking across the beach! Although it's a bit pricey, I believe this wagon is worth every penny!
