It is a smooth ride on all types of terrain. We go to the park, the beach and around the block. There is plenty of room for all the extra stuff you want to take along. There is even enough room for a friend and their stuff too. I would recommend this wagon over the steel one to anyone. It is a quiet ride and there is no chance of rust since it is made of wood. Date: 2003-03-28 OUTDOOR FUN This wagon is great. We can fit everything we need in it and more. Is easy to pull. The ride is smooth and quiet. Our kids love it. Great for walks. We love it. Date: 2002-10-30 Flaking paint This is a great wagon, but the red paint on the rails flakes off if the wagon is exposed to any weather, so you'd better weather-seal it if you buy it. Date: 2002-10-25 Best Open-Bed-Style Wagon There is!!!!!!!! My mom got this for my first child when he was a baby. It is the best open-bed wagon out there (as opposed to the wagons with doors and seats, which are totally different, I think.) We have used it all the time. The ATW has big rubber tires that are great for the street or off-road. This wood bottom wagon is better than the metal bottom one because it's much bigger, and it doesn't get all hot in the sun. I used fit a toddler, an infant carrier and some toys in there and go to the park. Now I fit two toddlers, trucks, snacks, etc. P.S. Buy the umbrella that clips on the side, too. Date: 2002-10-23 Fun For the WHOLE Family ......however it DOES need to be assembled....which takes a while!!...great for kids, dogs, toys, plants and general all-around fun
