Best alphabet puzzle out there
This puzzle is great for learning letters as well as learning to spell and you can't beat the price.

Great puzzle!
This puzzle is great for learning both the upper and lower case letters of the alphabet. The pictures underneath the letters are well done and accurately represent the letters...they definitely help my little one learn. The puzzle is also very well made and I know it will last a long time. I highly recommend this puzzle!

Alphabet reinforcement
This is a great tool for bringing the Alphabet song to life! We sing the song while looking for that particular letter in the puzzle! We are learning the different colors as well as each of the object pictures...this puzzle also works well for older twos with supervision of couse! Highly recommended

Almost perfect
I started teaching my 3 1/2-year-old son the alphabet in April using Leapfrog products (DVD, CD w/ flashcards). He's been familiar with the letters and their sounds and I thought that it would be good to have this wooden puzzle too for him to get the 'feel' of the letters in preparation to writing them. Although he likes the puzzle, he gets confused with the pictures on the puzzle board (i.e., the letter shapes look cluttered). In HIS case, this puzzle would be perfect if instead of pictures, it's just a solid color for easier, straightforward letter identification. The Leapfrog products were very effective in teaching him the letters and their sounds. In our everyday life, I ask him what letter a particular thing begins with and he can tell me the correct letter (example: What letter does "paper" begin with? --- while I emphasize the beginning P sound).

Best toy ever to learn ABCs
I bought this puzzle for my son when he was 2 and half. Although it takes more time for them to complete, this is the best toy to learn upper and lower case. My son learnt it immediately and now he is 3 yrs and keeps spelling all the letters in his little books, even spells the names of grocery stores.
Without this toy I wouldn't have taught him. This is one toy you can buy it without 2nd thought. It is very sturdy and no sharp edges. Even though some lower case letters look similar, it's not difficult for little ones to make out the differences. The letters i and l are very small, so, keep an eye on little children not to put in their mouth. But don't avoid buying it and teaching them.
After seeing this puzzle, many of my friends bought this for their children too and all are satisfied. no regrets.
