Hard to Hold
The buttons are not easily pushed to play a sound. It's a good thing that the corners are rubber bumpers because the cube is not an easy item to hold. The music is great, but interest is lost with the difficulty in pushing the buttons.

My baby liked it from age 12 months and still plays with it at 3.5 years!
This toy has been the one toy my son consistently played with. He loved it from about 10 months to 2 years, and even now picks it up and plays with it. Initially he learned to press the sides and the "on/off" cause and effect. Now he uses it to piece together the various instruments and even sings along to "twinkle, twinkle little star." Definitely worth the money!

Boring toy that kids ignore -- don't waste your money.
I don't really understand all these rave reviews -- 3 year old touched this once and since then this toy has been left in the corner. The 3 year old has a ton of toys and this toy simply doesn't match up. I suppose if you only have one toy, kids might play with it; otherwise don't waste your time. The buttons are not easy to push and the music is boring. Sounded like a great concept, but was a waste of money.

Awesome music cube
my little one enjoys music a lot and loves using either his feet or hands to push the squares for music. he is 9 months old and loves it. we take it wherever we travel ... as he holds his bottle to drink his formula, I sometimes allow him to rest his bottle with formula against the cube while he is sitting in his stroller... and the music and lights are still playing.... we love it and so does our little one. worth the purchase for one who enjoys music and if the baby enjoys music too.....

Overstimulating
I appreciate the idea behind this musical toy, but it's absolutely FRENETIC. Talk about toys creating passive, overstimulated babies...this is a prototype. The quality of the sound is great, but to have the lights flashing in a strobe-like fashion certainly makes my baby look away immediately. I can't stand it myself.
