I bought this same doll for my first granddaughter. It is a great doll for a new baby girl. Amazon always seems to have the best pricing.

Great first Babydoll
I bought this for my daughter as her first babydoll. It is soft and cuddly and a year later still has some vanilla scent left . I love velour for young babies so this was a no brainer. Cute doll at a reasonable price.

Best First Doll
We bought our 1 year old daughter this doll for Christmas last year. It was love at first sight! Almost a year later and after about 20 cycles in the washing machine, "Buh-buh" still has her sweet vanilla smell and lovely softness. We have the African American version of this doll and she is gorgeous. My daughter takes her everywhere and cannot sleep without her. Despite being carried around by the tip of her pointy hat, used as a football by my 6 year old son, used as a tissue, cuddled and thrown-up on she has held up well. Well worth the money!

Twin Sister Doll
This doll was given to my granddaughter's cousin who is two months younger. They both love their babydolls and share back and forth. The doll is very soft and easy for them to hold. It is also washable which is handy as everything goes into their mouths.

Perfect First Baby Doll
My parents bought this doll for my 9-month-old daughter for Christmas, and she loved it before we even opened the box...literally, she was giving the baby "kisses" through the box window. This is the first baby doll she's even seen, let alone been given, and she took to it right away. It has a pleasantly vanilla-scented face with a sweet expression (the eyes are fixed in a side-ways glance so it's not like the creepy i'm-staring-at-you doll look), and her attached hat has a knot that's perfect for my daughter's little hands to grab ahold of and drag around the house. It's the perfect size and heft for my baby to cuddle. I would recommend this doll to anyone looking for a first doll for their baby to love.
