User Submitted Revell Big Scale Visible V-8 Engine ReviewsDate: 2008-12-30 Buyer beware is right! It doesn't fit together well at all! The instructions are not well written. Very frustrating. It's going in the trash. Really too bad because my son and husband were very excited about this project. All it did was waste hours and patients. Date: 2008-12-15 Revell Big Scale Visible V-8 Engine I bought this for my grandson's birthday and apparently it was the hit of the day ! As far as I'm told it will be fight between Dad & son as to who gets to actually build it !!! Date: 2008-11-25 Non-Electrical Visable V-* I remember building a Visable V-8 as a youngster. I was motorized so that as the pistons reached the top, a red light would go on as if it actually ignited the fuel. Wish the description clearly stated it is a hand crank model. Date: 2008-02-15 Revell Big Scale V8 is difficult but a lot of fun and a good learning project Good product, a little more time consuming than previously thought. Need to get epoxy cement instead of regular model cement. A lot of fun though and a really good learning experience. A great way to learn how engines work. Date: 2008-01-14 Revell engine It was too hard for my son (9) to do it himself. But it was a great father-son project.
