My kid loves it, but assembly was a problem
My son really loves riding and pushing this toy around, and we wanted something very simple without flashing lights or buttons.

The major drawback was that assembly was a little tricky by itself, but it was made worse by the fact that some holes weren't drilled into the plastic (after reading some reviews I'm not the only one.) Hope you feel comfortable drilling your own!

My son loves it....
My son loves this! I purchased it as a walker, and at first it was a little too fast for him. Only a week or so went by and he mastered it. His legs are still a little short for the riding part. He enjoys pushing it from all angles, on hard floors and carpet. He is the type to be content crawling...if it weren't for this toy that encourages walking!

Love it for my 15 month old!
I sought out this particular push toy for my 15 month old daughter because it is a basic, no bells and whistles push toy. And she loves it! She loves to take this outside and push it up and down our neighborhood sidewalk. It is lightweight so she is able to turn the toy in different directions and even though it is lightweight it rarely tips over. She also loves the space between the seat and handle bar to put her "treasures" she finds or her favorite stuffed bunny. We are both very pleased with this toy and would highly recommend it to a friend. My only complaint is that great toys like this one are not available in most stores presumably due to it's lack of music or flashing lights.

Good Toy for Walkers
We purchased this item about 4 months ago when our son had just turned 1. He has really enjoyed it. In retrospect, I should have ordered it earlier--when he began to walk (an early 9 months old) as it could really have been safely and enjoyably used from that time.

The item does not have a steering column, and we have observed that our son seems ready to move on to a vehicle he can steer. Don't get me wrong, he certainly compensates by scooting and sliding around corners without any real struggle--but we think he is ready to graduate and have ordered one of the small Radio Flyer trikes that have 'real steering'.

The quality of the vehicle is standard heavy Little Tikes plastic. Unfortunately, on our unit the plastic on the body of the vehicle cracked at the back axle (the axle is metal) which now makes for a wobbly ride, but we chalk that up more to our kid's rough sense of play and delight in tipping and crashing the unit than a universal lack of quality. Therefore, we are generally pleased with this product and would recommend this gift for any walkers-early or late.

Grandson LOVES this truck!
This was a gift for Christmas when he was 9 months old. He loves wheels and at that time turned it right over and spun the wheels. He was pulling himself to standing then and soon did so on the "truck". Now, at 11 months, he steers himself all over including the park. He goes to whatever amusement he sees..on his own. It has really improved his walking also. We're teaching him to sit on it now and scoot himself along. It has been by far his favorite toy. The durablity is great too..he has it on gravel, grass & sidewalks at top speed and it still works well and looks good.
